I'm Roya Soleimani Winner and I love working with couple’s to bring the wedding ceremony of their dreams to life. I specialize in officiating Persian and multi-cultural ceremonies, and have loved working with such a beautiful range of cultures, backgrounds, and love stories.
My husband Andy and I were married in 2017, and a family friend officiated our wedding. In the spirit of bridging our Iranian and American traditions, I wrote and designed a wedding ceremony script that reflected the mosaic of our backgrounds and love.
In 2019, a dear friend asked me to officiate her wedding, and it was such an honor and fulling experience. I was immediately inspired to start Winner Weddings.
To date, I’ve worked with over 25 couples to bring their unique love stories and cultural traditions into a meaningful and personalized ceremony.
In addition to my work as an officiant, I'm a seasoned public speaker and communications consultant with over a decade of experience working at some of the world’s largest technology companies. I hold a Master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
I live in the Bay Area with my husband Andy and our two sons.
